Kinder Kids International School
In general, international schools are known as a school for foreign children and returnees. It is very difficult for children from Japanese families, with non-English speaking parents to enroll. Not only that, but I imagine that children and parents would have difficulties adapting to the new environment, customs, and several culture of the school.
I had a strong desire to raise my children to become broad minded, international and bilingual. I have never considered raising my children like a foreign children, but instead wanted to create an international school for Japanese children - a school that would enable them to acquire an international perspective and a high level of English education.
Our concept is to create an "International school for Japanese children".This has been our main goal since starting Kinder Kids International School. Our first school was opened in the year 2000 in Higashi Osaka City. Kinder Kids International School is designed to cater for children who have no English experience, and have non-English speaking parents. At Kinder Kids, we provide children with high quality English skills, alongside learning about Japanese culture and customs.
As you know, it is not easy to raise a Japanese child to become bilingual in Japan. Children do not acquire English easily just because they spend all day with native English speaking teacher in an English environment. It is also necessary to have a curriculum designed to suit the children's age, and interests as a child growing up in Japan. This is why we have spent many years developing our
"Age-specific, original curriculum"What do we teach at which age? We have specialist staff researching best practices in Japan and overseas, and have completed our own, original age-specific curriculum. Our original curriculum is followed by each Kinder Kids class, and continue to make refine our teaching resources.
Our curriculum is managed by our Head Office curriculum supervisors. The curriculum is designed in detail, with weekly themes, vocabulary words, songs, workbook pages, and craft. This curriculum is not effected by teachers' skill, ability, or experience. Therefore, we have developed a curriculum where
"All classes in the same grade across each of our schools learn the same content at the same time - high quality lessons across the board"We select Native English and Japanese teachers who are qualified, caring, energetic, fun and have experience teaching young children. We hope to support your child's developement and provide an enjoyable and loving learning experience at Kinder Kids.
